FAQs

We work with older people, including those with a dementia diagnosis, people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

Bolton Cares works with people and communities to provide exceptional person-centred support and care in a creative and innovative way. Read more about What we do.

Bolton Cares is the largest care provider in Bolton. We are an innovative company who are passionate about enriching and empowering people’s lives.

We work with people to enable them to live independently in the way they want and get the support they need when they need it. Read about Our Mission, and Our Values.

Access to most of our services is through referrals from Bolton, Salford and Wigan Council. However, if you live in Bolton, Salford or Wigan and are age 18 or over and would like to use one of our services, please give us a call, we will be happy to assess your needs and try to help. Our contact details can be found at the top of this page.

All our services except for our Day opportunities are registered and regulated by the CQC Care Quality Commission.

In those services regulated by the CQC, we continue to be rated as good.

Bolton Cares recognises that our employees are our biggest asset and that without their skills, talents and commitment we would not exist to provide high quality care and support to local people.

We are therefore committed to providing all staff with the mandatory and regulatory training to ensure they feel supported in their role and that we comply with the CQC regulations. We also invest in upskilling staff to ensure they carry out their roles with a high level of skill and competency and provide the highest levels of compassionate care.

We also invest in professional qualifications for our staff and offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities to empower to give their best every day.
