Contract: Permanent  Hours: 37

This is a new role and would be a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in developing their career in Learning and Development. You will be part of a forward looking, supportive People Team and have an opportunity to gain experiences in all aspects of workforce development.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a learning and development environment, knowledge of the learning management cycle, be proficient in the use of ICT and Microsoft office tools. It would be a distinct advantage to have experience of using bespoke HR and Learning Management Systems but candidates who have significant experience in event management and meet other criteria may be considered. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively will be essential.

As a key member of the People team, you will be part of a passionate, dedicated team, working together to improve professional development opportunities and learner experiences.

You will assist with the smooth running of Learning and Development (L&D) activities and provide administrative support to the Workforce Development Partner. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • The preparation of all learning events, including classroom, digital and virtual activities, acting as the key point of contact for internal and external event queries.
  • Managing the Company’s induction and all mandatory learning activities.
  • Maintaining and updating L&D data and information systems
  • Supporting the role out and development of a new  Learning Management System
